Community Partnerships

At Swansfield we partnered with the following community members:

•Trout in the Classroom, Alan Burrows and Bryan Sirotkin who helps us plan our trout release and offers his expertise and caring for  the trout.
Potomac-Patuxent Chapter of  Trout Unlimited  - Trout in the Classroom

•Allison Anderson, Assistant Director, Howard County Conservancy

•Gina Bonomo, Recycling Coordinator for Howard County Environmental Services

•Alicia Moore, Director of Howard County Recycling, helped us with our Waste Free Wednesday lunch program

•HC Nutrition and Physical Activity Coalition - Days of Taste (4th grade)

•Howard County Conservancy in-class and on-site field trips

•Robinson Nature Center  on-site field trips

•HCPSS Bldg & Grounds, Mr. Joe Dick

•HCPSS Energy specialist, Diane Sweeney

•UME Watershed Specialist, Amanda Rockler, who provides habitat expertise

•Grace Community Church will again provide a day of grounds clean-up and will improve our walking path and native plants garden.
