Environmental Issue Instruction 



                      Pre - Kindergarten/
                          Kindergarten


•We visit the farm in the fall to observe the life cycle of a pumpkin, and to observe living and non-living things.

•We also study animals and visit the zoo, during the spring, to discuss habitats and homes.

•We study plants, the Earth, the sky, and the weather. (Pre - Kindergarten)

•We also sing and discuss the weather daily. (Pre - Kindergarten)

                     
•We visit the farm in the spring to explore habitats and baby animals. (Kindergarten)

•In the spring we also plant bean seeds and observe the life cycle of a bean plant. (Kindergarten)

•We also record and graph the weather daily. (Kindergarten)





First Grade



•We visit Robinson Nature Center in the fall.

•We take an in-school field trip in the spring t0 the zoo mobile and learn about bird habitats.

•We study living things and learn about the life cycles of plants and animals.  We plant seeds in a pot and study the life cycle of a frog.

•We collect soil samples and study rocks and dirt.
